When Worlds Collide...
Feb. 18th, 2007 02:23 pmOkay, so this morning at the Lodge, I finally had a look at Strange Eon (an Arkham Horror character generator), and started playing around with it. It's quite a nice little program, that sets the totals and checks validity on the charcters you generate, allows for custom images, and sets it all in the appropriate format - it even lets you create Old Ones, Monsters and Allies! The upshot is I've created a Secret Adventures of Jules Verne suite, with Phileas, Rebecca, Jules and Passepartout as characters, the Aurora as an ally, and Count Gregory as an Old One. But it would be so easy to make one for every fandom. Sherlock Holmes, Pirates of the Caribbean, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - I think that characters from 1850-1950 would probably work best in the Arkham universe, but quite honestly the possibilities are endless. You could creat Arkham versions of, House, or SGA! And that's before you start mixing and matching. At that point, we're past Shadows Over Baker Street, we're now in the realm of pure crack. Together they fight crime the Great Old Ones! It's kind of like a crossover in boardgame format.
