Essentials Of Real Estate Investment
Sep. 24th, 2003 09:02 pmAt one chapter a day, I will be finished with this book in about a week, just in time for the online class to go live. This is a good thing, as it has nothing to do with my graduate course.
Meanwhile, I must get my act together regarding sovereignty, devolution and suchlike to determine whether I can pull together a decent mini-thesis in six to eight weeks. The college library was kind enough to let me do "old-school" paper and pen book borrowing, as I don't have a university card yet.
The Praefectus suggests that there is a strong current job market to become an academic, especially a legal academic. This is a good thing. The Praefectus also suggests that the BCL is one of the more difficult and stressful graduate courses (with mention of participants having a "hunted" look.) This is a bad thing.
I have an appointment to observe and meet with a tea teacher! Classes are in London, which is inconvenient, but apparently can be scheduled at convenience and paid per class, so it looks like the new hobby might be feasible.
New dance routine is developing, which is good from the viewpoint of exercise and creativity. Two problems: one, my costumes, etc. are still in transit and two, I'm inspired by cheesy 80's pop.
I also (belatedly) finished the 13 issue miniseries "The Filth." I am still confused. Can someone who understood this explain it to me?
Top Five -
1) Zazen meditation - How did I manage to stay sane before this?
2) Smallville - Look, it's an addictive narcotic in television form.
3) Tuna and Cheese - Unorthodox but satisfying breakfast duo.
4) Umbrella - Compact, lightweight rust-proof aluminum frame - black.
5) Flotation - An activity that really is painful in a good way.
