Not Just Some Casual Affair
May. 3rd, 2006 12:20 amEgad, another month gone, and not a word about it - despite the fact that so much happened. Let me explain, or at least sum up.
( April 6-9 - SHSL Mini-Festival, Mike Carey, and Margaret Cho )
( April 11, 14-16 - Staff Outing, London Again, and Rowhill Grange )
( Everything Else )
Oh, and in closing let me note: 1) I'm thinking of having a viewing evening for Sherlock Hound, the delightful Hayao Miyazaki anime featuring Sherlock Holmes stories reinterpreted with anthropomorphic dogs. (See the icon to this post - it's adorable! And, umm, full of subtext.) It's really quite cute and funny, so if you like either Miyazki or Sherlock Holmes, let me know - possibly Friday? 2) using my extensive Oxford contacts, I have secured a College punt card, so despite not being a proper student anymore, I have (limited) punting privileges - for the whole summer! All the way to, like, October. So, I'll be arranging some outings for that as well.
With the summer promising National Trust bracken, Northumbrian zen, travel, conventions and yet more adventures, I'm really feeling rather hopeful. Let's hope the feeling stays.
